‎Vivo Energy Uganda, the company that distributes and markets Shell-branded fuels and lubricants in Uganda, has handed over school fees and scholastic prizes to the first winners of its nationwide “Fuel Their Future” promotion, reaffirming its commitment to supporting education while rewarding customer loyalty.

‎The prize handover ceremony was held at Shell Nakiyanja Service Station, where the first five winners, Anita Namara, Gerald Kiiza, Joshua Mwebaza, Namuyonjo Samuel, and Kibuuka Robert, received school fees worth Shs2 million, shopping vouchers, fuel, and other instant rewards.

‎The campaign aims to ease the financial pressure on families during the school season, while rewarding customers who fuel and shop at Shell Select stores.

‎Customers who purchase FuelSave Unleaded or FuelSave Diesel worth Shs 100,000, or spend Shs40,000 at participating Shell Select outlets, receive scratch coupons that enter them into draws for instant and weekly prizes, including school fees support.

‎Speaking during the handover ceremony, Joseph Kyagaba, District Manager Central, emphasized the company’s dedication to rewarding loyal customers and supporting families.

‎He noted that Vivo Energy Uganda will continue to provide quality fuels, lubricants, and services while delivering initiatives that support customers in their everyday lives.

‎Alex Tusingwire, Retail Manager at Vivo Energy Uganda, said appreciating customers is anchored in delivering high quality fuel and creating real value.

‎He added that campaigns such as “Fuel Their Future” allow the company to give back through meaningful support, including school fees contributions, while maintaining the trusted service customers expect.

‎As the ceremony concluded, the winners expressed excitement and shared how they participated in the draw. Mark Mutungi encouraged customers to continue fueling and shopping at Shell stations across the country for more chances to win in the upcoming prize draws.

‎The “Fuel Their Future” promotion continues at participating Shell service stations nationwide, offering customers more opportunities to win while supporting their children’s education.

Through this initiative, Vivo Energy Uganda say they'll continue to invest in communities and promote access to education across the country.
