Using the ‘Empower her Initiative’, Fresh Dairy has re-echoed its commitment to advocate for more opportunities for women at the work place during this year's International Women’s Day celebrations.
Empower Her Initiative aims to create a corporate culture that values and supports the advancement of women into leadership roles.
"Empower Her Initiative" is crucial for creating a more just, equal, and prosperous world, where women and girls have the same opportunities, rights, and influence as their male counterparts.
While attending the Empower Her Initiative Dinner and Awards Gala held at Hotel Africana, Winnie Mirembe, the Human Resource Manager – Fresh Dairy emphasied the need for more opportunities for women at work places.
“As a family brand, we believe in elevating both genders at the workplace for inclusivity. This year’s Women’s Day theme – “Accelerate Action” is in line with our core brand values that ensure gender balance at the workplace,"Mirembe said.
"While we continue to delight customers through our products, we believe in leaving a lasting impression on society’s sustainability through elevating women at all levels of the workforce including Managerial, mid-level and junior roles. At Fresh Dairy, we have purposed to include women in management and decision-making processes."
As part of its sustainability drive, Fresh Dairy also served its signature flavoured yoghurt to each guest that attended the Empower Her Dinner and Awards Gala.
