Masjid Mbogo Kawempe receives Shs10 million

On the evening of Tuesday, May 7, the Kagera Hall at Hotel Africana buzzed with excitement as Salam Charity and Salam TV held a special event to hand out cheques worth a whopping Shs180 million to Nakaloke Centre Mosque, Salaam Muslim Cemetery, and Masjid Mbogo Kawempe.

These funds were collected during Ramadhan, thanks to the efforts of local folks coming together to help out.

Guests arrived, greeted by warm smiles and a sense of anticipation. The evening kicked off with a heartfelt speech by Hajj Karim Kaliisa, the boss of Salam Charity and Salam TV.

Salaam Muslim Cemetery, Nkoowe 2 receives Shs90 million

He pointed out that every single coin came from someone who cared deeply about making our community better.

Imam Iddi Kasozi, a respected leader, got everyone pumped about collective giving. He said if just 20,000 people in Uganda gave 2 million shillings each year, we could make big strides in our community's growth.

The first big cheque, worth Shs91 million, went to Hajj Haruna Kibirige, head of Salaam Muslim Cemetery. He thanked everyone who pitched in during Ramadhan, knowing their generosity would ensure a peaceful resting place for our loved ones.

Next up, Hajji Ismail Mukankadi from Nakaloke Centre Mosque received 80 million shillings. He shared his heartfelt thanks to Salam Charity and Salam TV, saying their support helped build a beautiful mosque that'll benefit the community for generations.

Lastly, Masjid Mbogo Kawempe got a cheque of Shs10 million, and their representative, Hajj Ahmed Bisegerwa, thanked Salam Charity and Salam TV for their consistent support.

Nakaloke Center Mosque receives Shs80 million

By the end of the evening, the audience felt proud and hopeful. The event reminded us that even small contributions add up to big changes in people's lives.

Salam Charity's honesty and dedication have earned them trust and respect. As guests left, they carried with them a renewed commitment to giving back and making a positive impact on our community.
