Ugandan authorities arrested three senior Soroti District officials: Haggai Elena (Senior Procurement Officer), Alex Oriekot (Acting District Engineer), and Simon Okello (Assistant Engineer, Roads) on suspicion of involvement in discrepancies with the Low-Cost Sealing Road project contracts in Tubur Town Council.
