Salam TV, a leading Islamic television channel in Uganda, has launched a new project called Eggunjuliro Lya Salam. This exclusive holiday residential program is meticulously crafted to empower and inspire children aged 10 to 20 with a holistic education.
The 20-day program, to be held at Adam and Hawa Islamic Primary School from 3rd to December 17th, 2023, will focus on Islamic theology, life skills, and personal development.
Participants will immerse themselves in the rich teachings of Islamic theology, ethics, and values, fostering a solid foundation for spiritual growth. They will also participate in life skills workshops in public speaking, financial literacy, bakery, soap making, and camera work.
These hands-on experiences will prepare them for real-world challenges.
In addition, Eggunjuliro Lya Salam will provide emotional support and mentorship to nurture well-rounded individuals capable of navigating life's complexities. Participants will also engage in group challenges to encourage teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving.
To participate, children aged 10 to 20 can register through a simple process and pay a nominal fee of 300,000 UGX. The program's schedule, led by expert instructors and mentors, will balance educational sessions with practical workshops and group activities. The Adam and Hawa Islamic Primary School will provide a safe and conducive environment, ensuring the well-being of all participants.
Eggunjuliro Lya Salam is not just a program; it's a journey toward empowering the youth with knowledge, skills, and values to shape their future. Together with Salam TV, let's create a positive impact, building a generation ready to face the challenges of tomorrow.
