Police spokesperson SSP P. Onyango said, “The suspects, including Alien Skin, orchestrated a violent attack on the victim. This is a serious matter, and we are determined to bring all involved to justice.”

Alien Skin, born Patrick Mulwana, has long been at the centre of public controversies.

In December 2024, he was remanded to Luzira Prison on robbery charges after a video clip surfaced showing his gang attack security guards and medical staff at Nsambya Hospital, with the singer appearing to endorse the assault.

While the initial public outcry focused on the assault, he was formally charged with stealing an iPhone 15 Pro, Shs480,000 in cash, and a wallet containing a national ID belonging to Salim Mubiru.

The singer denied the accusations, and his case was remanded until December 9, 2024.

Fellow musician Pius Mayanja, alias Pallaso, initially defended Alien Skin, calling for his release.

“Locking Alien up in prison won't tackle the real problems faced by kids from the ghetto. The places they used to hustle from have been replaced by new buildings. Where do you think those kids have gone? They are the ones you see hanging around artists,” Pallaso remarked.

However, tensions between the two artists escalated into violent confrontation. In early January 2025, Pallaso allegedly led a raid on Alien Skin’s home in Makindye, hours after a confrontation at Buloba, Wakiso District.

Witnesses and videos circulating on social media show Pallaso commanding his group, smashing property, and causing injuries to members of Alien Skin’s team.

Alien Skin reportedly hid in the ceiling to escape the attack.

The singer’s notoriety also extends to political confrontations. In December 2024, he was accused of mobilizing gangs to attack NUP supporters at their Makerere Kavule headquarters, demonstrating how public feuds can spill beyond the entertainment scene.

Police are appealing to the public to provide information on Alien Skin and his accomplices—Commander Mdogo, Ibra Kabadiya, and Mijagulo—so they can be apprehended.

SSP Onyango added, “The investigation is ongoing, and we urge anyone with knowledge of their whereabouts to come forward.”

His latest alleged involvement in Namuwaya’s death marks a dangerous escalation in his history of public disputes, prompting widespread calls for accountability and safety within the entertainment sector.
