Police in Kiboga have arrested a reverend for allegedly defiling four students at a school where he is the principal.

According to the Wamala Region Police spokesperson Racheal Kawala, Rev. George William Luyimbazi, of All Saints Church but also the Principal of Bamusuta Vocational Institute,all in Kiboga was arrested after the victims reported the matter to police.

It is said the incidents happened between June and October 2024 where he allegedly defiled the female victims aged between 16 and 18.

“Preliminary findings indicate that the suspect allegedly defiled the victims at different intervals from his residence at church(All Saints Church kiboga) and at school (Bamusuta vocational Institute Kiboga),”Kawala said.

She said after recording statement from victims, they were medially examined and it was established that one of the victims is pregnant.

“Suspect was rescued by police after having been surrounded by parents and is currently being held at Kiboga police as investigations continue,” Kawala said.
