The timing was strategic, ahead of the zero-tariff policy set to take effect in May 2026, which is expected to significantly enhance the competitiveness of Ugandan agricultural exports in China.

Visitors to the Uganda booth experienced an immersive journey into the country’s rich agricultural heritage.

Live coffee cupping sessions allowed buyers to taste Uganda’s world-class Arabica and Robusta varieties, while a dedicated B2B trade desk offered guidance on tariff-free import procedures and export partnerships.
