City Oilers have extended their incredible streak in the Men’s National Basketball League. The Oilers clinched their record 10th consecutive NBL title at Lugogo on Wednesday.
They achieved the above feat at the expense of KIU Titans, a side they also defeated to win their ninth championship in 2023.
A 64-51 victory on Wednesday night ensured that Andrew Tendo’s charges swept Julius Lutwama’s side 4-0 after winning game one, two, three, and four of this best-of-seven series final playoffs.
It was Oilers allover the court from tip-off and despite keeping within close range maintaining it as a two and three point game in the first and second quarter, respectively, the men in blue began to stride away after the interval.
