Uganda signs deal for two additional Bombardiers

Uganda has finalised payments for another two bombardiers worth $ 56 million from Canadian manufacturer Bombardier Corporation .

The signing of the agreement in Canada was witnessed by the Permanent Secretary in the ministry of Works and Transport Waiswa Bageya on behalf of Uganda Airlines and Craig Allan on behalf of Bombardier in Canada.

The aircraft in question is CRJ 900 series and bears the manufacturers serial no. 14570.

They are expected to leave Canada on 5th October and arrive at Entebbe international Airport on 7th October 2019.

This will bring to four the number of aircraft owned by Uganda Airlines which resumed service last month.
