Claims circulating online that the Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) is set to release the 2024 Primary Leaving Examination (PLE) results at State House Nakasero on Friday, January 17, 2025, are unfounded and misleading.
The First Lady and Minister of Education, Janet Kataha Museveni, is not scheduled to officiate any event related to the PLE results release at the State House on Friday, as claimed by some sources.
In a statement released by UNEB on their official X (formerly Twitter) account, the board clarified that there is no such announcement made to release PLE results this Friday.
UNEB confirmed that the date for releasing the results remains tentative and an official date for the release will be communicated at the right time..
UNEB stressed that it will provide accurate information about the results release process, including the exact release date and method, through official channels.
