Next Radio is still going strong as it marks six remarkable years of entertaining and engaging Ugandans through its unique programming.
To celebrate this milestone, the station is expressing gratitude to its loyal listeners with a series of special activities and surprises.
As part of the festivities, Lara, one of Next Radio’s most ardent callers and biggest supporters, was treated to a delightful lunch with the #NextMorningSwitch team.
This heartwarming gesture was hosted at the Fairway Hotel Kampala, a picturesque venue that perfectly set the tone for the special occasion.
Lara, who has been a steadfast listener, couldn’t contain her excitement as she shared a meal with her favorite radio personalities.
“I am so thrilled to be here with the team. It’s an experience I will never forget!” she said, adding, “For anyone who hasn’t tuned in to Next Radio yet, you’re truly missing out on so much fun and positivity.”
The day was an intimate brunch featuring the Next Morning Switch trio—Ronnie MacVex, Uncle Mark, and Victoria Sibiya—who were equally delighted to connect with one of their listeners in such a personal way.
They praised Lara for her unwavering support and enthusiasm, describing her as a symbol of the vibrant community Next Radio has built over the years.
The celebration didn’t stop there. The team expressed their gratitude to the Fairway Hotel Kampala for its generous hospitality and support in making the day memorable.
“It’s always amazing to interact with the people who make what we do worthwhile.
We wouldn’t be here without our listeners, and we’re happy to celebrate this journey together,” shared Ronnie MacVex during the event.
