United Media Onboards KRC TV to Strengthen Coverage Across Rwenzori Region

KRC TV has officially joined the United Media Alliance following the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Next Media on Friday, April 11, at Next Media Park.

KRC TV was represented by Ruhunda Alex, Chairman of the KRC Group of Companies, alongside Mugabo Josephine Nyakaana.

The two formalised the partnership and underscored a shared commitment to collaboration, growth, and innovation within Uganda’s evolving media landscape.

Their entry into the United Media Alliance brings them into a growing consortium of media partners spanning radio, television, and digital platforms.

The alliance is designed to strengthen communication channels, extend audience reach, and support more impactful, nationally resonant storytelling.

The partnership signals a strategic expansion of media collaboration, positioning KRC TV within a network of broadcasters working collectively to amplify content and deepen audience engagement across regions.

Based in the Tooro sub-region, KRC TV has built a reputation around local content, cultural storytelling, and community-focused programming.

Its inclusion in the alliance not only strengthens regional representation but also provides a platform for its stories to reach wider national and potentially international audiences.

Through this collaboration, both parties stand to benefit from enhanced content sharing, broader coverage, and opportunities for joint productions across multiple platforms.

It also opens the door for more community-driven narratives from the Rwenzori region to gain visibility across Uganda.

As the United Media Alliance continues to expand, partnerships of this nature are helping to shape a more integrated media ecosystem—one that supports local voices, bridges regional gaps, and ensures stories from every corner of the country are told and heard.
