Next Radio makes the Switch with refreshing lineup
Victoria Sibiya has new partners in crime in Ronnie McVex and Uncle Mark

It's Big Hits, the slogan goes for Next Radio 106.1 FM - and that's not for the fun of it with Uganda's first visual-audio radio shuffling the decks to inject freshness and dynamism in programmes.

From its flagship show, the Morning Switch, to The Tranzit that spins the decks and charts the early evening discourse, Next Radio has placed itself at the heart of listeners who truly value engaging radio shows.

And it is in the personalities as the lively station goes for 'Big Hits and Big Interviews'.

The breakfast starts with the lively presenter Victoria Sibiya from 6am but with the listeners' favourite Ronnie McVex and comedian and season events host Uncle Mark, the heads at Next Radio appear to have gone for the kill.

Mr Timothy Bhatia, Next Radio's brand manager said the 'kill' is not down to the grave but one that sends the listeners into an informative cloud.

"The aims to be an influential, informative, exciting radio station with a strong brand identity known for 'Big Hits and Big Interviews' with a loyal and fun-loving community across the country that's transforming the nation," Bhatia said.

The early evening will Tranzit through Timothy Code and James Peterson

Ronnie McVex's move into the flagship breakfast show leaves James Peterson engaging a new guy with a new partner for The Tranzit show.

But it does not come any bigger than Timothy Code, a media personality and event host who has trimmed his life on the airwaves with the neatness with which he tends to his beard.

The Crown Boy will be happening alongside James Peterson on weekdays 3pm - 7pm.
