TotalEnergies Marketing Uganda has recognized exceptional talent and service excellence within its retail network through the inaugural Top Mechanic Awards, held on Friday, June 19, 2026.
The awards ceremony, organized under the Premium Quality Service Project, aims to enhance service delivery standards across TotalEnergies service stations by rewarding mechanics who demonstrate outstanding professionalism, technical expertise, and commitment to customer satisfaction.
The initiative reflects TotalEnergies’ ongoing commitment to delivering superior service experiences anchored on its five core customer promises: Responsibility, Cleanliness, Proximity, Convenience, and Safety.
Speaking at the event, the Specialties Manager and the Retail and Marketing Manager applauded the mechanics for their dedication and encouraged all station teams to consistently uphold high service standards. They emphasized the critical role mechanics play in shaping customer experience and strengthening trust in the TotalEnergies brand.
Celebrating excellence, the ceremony recognized the top three mechanics across the network:
- Overall, Winner: Muganga John (TotalEnergies Kavule)
- First Runner-Up: Methodius Byaruhanga (TotalEnergies Kashari)
- Second Runner-Up: Ssozi Ronald (TotalEnergies Acacia)
In addition, outstanding mechanics from 18 service stations were acknowledged as top performers. These included stations in Gulu, Nateete, Entebbe Town, Bugishu, Kabale, Ntinda, Kajjansi, City Centre, Arua (Course View), Mityana Highway, Jinja Highway, Wampewo, Nyendo Highway, Lira, and Bahai, among others.
The Top Mechanic Awards form part of a broader strategy by TotalEnergies Marketing Uganda to strengthen service quality across its national footprint, ensuring customers receive reliable, efficient, and high-quality vehicle servicing.
