The Uganda National Oil Company (UNOC) has been awarded three internationally recognised management system certifications: ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management), ISO 14001:2015 (Environmental Management), and ISO 45001:2018 (Occupational Health and Safety Management).
The certifications were awarded following a rigorous independent assessment by LMS Certification Services, an internationally accredited certification body that audits organisations against ISO management system standards. The assessment confirmed that UNOC's management systems meet globally benchmarked standards for quality, environmental stewardship, and occupational health and safety.
The achievement marks another important milestone as Uganda advances towards First Oil, demonstrating that the systems underpinning the country's National Oil Company meet internationally recognised best practices.
The certifications reflect UNOC's commitment to strong governance, operational excellence, and responsible, safe, and sustainable operations. They also reaffirm the Company's focus on maintaining robust management systems that support quality service delivery, environmental stewardship, and the health and safety of employees, contractors, and other stakeholders.

ISO 14001:2015 confirms the Company's structured approach to environmental management and risk reduction, while ISO 45001:2018 demonstrates its commitment to protecting the health, safety, and wellbeing of everyone working on or visiting UNOC facilities.
