The nationwide Bell ObaFest journey that captivated Gulu, Masaka, and Arua reached an exciting finale on Saturday as Bell ObaFest 2025 descended upon Millennium Park in Lugogo.
Despite light early threats of rain, crowds streamed in throughout the afternoon, eager for a day filled with flavour, fun, and celebration led by the Bell Citrus and Honey variants.
Upon receiving complimentary coupons for either flavor, attendees were invited to explore a vibrant festival space filled with immersive experiences. Gaming stations and interactive setups—from the iconic Beer Topia to mini-golf courses and life-size chessboards—were spread across the grounds.
A dedicated responsible drinking lounge offered a free water hub, games, and giveaways, creating a relaxed and engaging environment for promoting safe consumption.
Staying true to its promise, the festival delivered a paradise for flavor lovers and bargain seekers alike. The popular 3-for-10k flavour buckets became even more irresistible during the FlexiPay Happy Hours, when prices dropped to an unbelievable 3-for-5k. These exciting offers paired perfectly with an extensive assortment of modern Rolexes and grilled meats featured in the Bell na Nyama combos—ensuring every guest experienced the ultimate beer-and-food pairing.
Lillian Kansiime Ssebunya, Brand Manager for Bell at Uganda Breweries, celebrated the festival’s success, saying:
“For Bell ObaFest this year, we set out to celebrate the richness of how Ugandans connect through our music, our food, and games, all shared over our Bell Flavors. This finale was the perfect culmination of our journey, and we responsibly toast to all our partners and consumers for this wholesome and flavorful experience that has brought us all together today.”
The main stage lived up to the day’s energy, featuring a dynamic lineup of artists representing the flavorful sounds dominating Uganda’s airwaves. Performers included Tai Dai, Dax Vibez, Kapeke, Vinka, Tracy Melon, and a special nod to the Habesha community through sets by DJ Magic Touch & Real Kenie and DJ Yemi. DJs Roja, Vans, City Girl, and Eyo Mackus kept the crowd energized, paving the way for live performances capped by Ray G, before DJ Bugy and Josh MC delivered a powerful closing set.
In line with the festival’s commitment to inclusivity, sign language interpreter Timina Wasike ensured that music and announcements were accessible to all, further cementing ObaFest as a celebration for everyone.
Ensuring a safe journey home, SafeBoda provided discounted rides to and from the venue, enabling festival-goers to conclude their day smoothly and securely.
