Ailing former Express FC star given Shs 5 million

Ezra Ssebuliba

Former Express star, Emmanuel Abel Mutanda has called upon the government to help footballers during the lockdown because many are languishing in their homes with nothing to eat.

Mutanda who played football in the 1970s made the call after receiving Shs 5 million plus food stuff from a one Bob Paul Mpiima popularly known as "commander."

Mpiima has called on football lovers and the FUFA President Moses Magogo to extend assistance to those in need.

Mutanda whom we found at his home in Katabi town council, Wakiso district, thanked Mpiima for his help and called on other people to come to the rescue of the poor and sportsmen.
