2021 Elections Watch

Rubaga South Member of Parliament (MP), Kato Lubwama, has said that his first term in Parliament was for him "to eat" and if voted back in 2021, he will now "eat with his voters."

In the run-up to the 2016 general elections, Lubwama is quoted asking voters to send him to Parliament, so that he can also 'eat' on that money, given to the legislators.

While addressing journalists, the politician cum actor said that if he is voted this term, he will eat with his supporters.

Lubwama said: "I have always told my people in Rubaga. I asked them to vote for me to 'eat'. For now, I am asking them to vote for me and we 'eat' together."

Kato Lubwama assured journalists that he has already won in Rubaga South and anyone who thinks that he can defeat him will be embarrassed.

Early this year, the lawmaker was hospitalised for four months with a heart condition. He said that he is perfectly well and ready to contest.
