Don’t allow to be used as political tools, Bobi Wine tells security personnel

Kyadondo East MP Robert Kyagulanyi commonly known as Bobi Wine has advised security agencies to respect law and order and to resist attempts to use them as political tools to oppress the citizens of Uganda.

“This is our country .Security agencies are advised to respect the law and not allow themselves to be used as political tool to oppress the citizen,”he wrote.

Bobi Wine alleged that a group of his supporters who had gone to deliver Idd token to the patients of Kiboga hospital were blocked by police on Sunday.

“The charity was organised to celebrate Eid al Adhuha with patients most of whom are very needy. As soon as they reached, they were blocked by police, “he stated.

He noted that his team was forced out of the district before delivering the items to the patients in the hospital.

He added that the official camera of his team was confiscated.

Kyagulanyi said Ugandans must be allowed to move freely because this country belongs to them.

“We condemn this kind of intimidation and prosecution of our people. All Ugandans must have freedom to move freely around this country as guaranteed by the laws on this land," he said.
