Africell yesterday unveiled a unique one-of-a-kind solution which will see its customers top-up airtime and data bundles from any MTN Mobile Money agent countrywide.
This, according to Africell, is a product stemming from continuous engagement between the management of MTN, Africell and other partners.
“The customer will only access this service at the MTN Mobile Money agent point and with the assistance of the agent,” read part of the statement.
The company said the MTN Mobile Money top-up option for Africell joins a number of other top-up solutions which have been deployed to narrow the distance between the company and the subscribers.
The other top up options include those with banks like Stanbic and DFCU which enable a customer to purchase Africell airtime from the ATM interface, Payway, Eazy money and many more.
According to a statement from the company, “With this service Africell customers will be able to buy airtime of all amounts, data bundles as well as social media bundles like SWIFT and 4G bundles on their phones. The service renders real time transactions with no delays and upon a successful purchase, the customer receives an SMS message alert to as a confirmation of the transaction.”
