Kaliisa Foundation vows to uplift education standards in Ruhaama

The Kaliisa Foundation, a non governmental organisation has embarked on a campaign in Ruhaama, Ntungamo district, to equip schools and support children to attain the best education available.

The latest beneficiary is Ruhaama Secondary School where the foundation pledged to construct a library and also equip it with the relevant books.

The revelation was made by Kin Kariisa, the chief executive officer of Next Media Services.

Kariisa said the foundation, continues to support communities like these and will continue to avail themselves when needed.

Hamid Kalisa, one of the members of the Kaliisa Foundation, but also the president of Ruhaama Development Initiative (RDI) highlighted the need for stakeholders in the community to embrace sports as a path to development.

To spearhead the cause, the foundation donated balls, jerseys and first aid kits to the school.

Dr. Steven Twinomugisha applauded the Kaliisa family for upholding their roots and asked the rest to emulate them
