Museveni to address nation in televised address
President Museveni will Saturday address the country in a televised address, the presidency has confirmed.
According to the Presidential Press team, Museveni will “address the nation on Saturday 8th September 2018 at State House Entebbe at 10am.”

It is not clear what the president who is currently still in China for an official visit will be talking about but our source understands that Museveni will among other issues, talk about the current security situation in the country as well as the recent events involving arrest and alleged torture by members of the opposition.
This is not the first time President Museveni is addressing the country regarding the same issues. Museveni has sought audience from the public albeit through his official social media pages a number of times in the previous weeks.
