Woman shoots High Court Judge driver dead
The Police in Kampala are investigating circumstances under which a daytime woman police guard attached to the residence of High Court Judge Musa Sekaana, shot dead the judge’s driver.
According to the judiciary head of communication, Solomon Muyita, the incident happened on Tuesday morning at the judge’s residence in Muyenga.

“The driver, Ismail Mayiga, was shot in the stomach at about 7am shortly after he reported for duty at the judge’s residence in Muyenga-Bukasa in Kampala,”Muyita said.
He added that the driver was pronounced dead upon arrival at the International Hospital, Kampala, where he had been rushed for medical attention.
Police Spokesman, Emilian Kayima, confirmed the incident, adding that the policewoman immediately handed herself to the Police, saying the gunshot was accidental.
The driver’s body has been taken to Mulago for postmortem whereas investigations into the incident have started.
