Video: NRM boss chased from polling station over allegations of voter bribery
The Vice Chairperson of the NRM Caucus, Solomon Silwany, was shown the exit from a polling station, after allegations that he was trying to bribe voters.
Silwany was chased from a polling station at Naluwelele, the station where JEEMA president, Asuman Basalirwa is meant to vote from.

According to eye witnesses, Silwany was reportedly trying to influence some voters to vote for the NRM candidate.
When he was cornered, he ran into a shop before emerging with pepper spray which he used to scare the people.
"Ideally police should have evacuated Solomon Silwanyi but they just looked on which was not good," said a victim of the spray.
There were also unconfirmed reports that he was armed. Later the military deployed and calmed the situation.
The Bugiri municipality polls have become heated and according to our reporter on the ground, there is an uneasy calm in town. There is also heavy police deployment.
At 9.45 am, Basalirwa cast his vote at Naluwelele polling station.

FDC's Eunice Namatende voted Ndokya East polling station at 10.10 am.
