MP involved in nasty accident, condition critical

Buyaga East Member of Parliament, Eric Musana is admitted at Nakasero hospital in critical condition following a nasty accident along Mityana- Kampala highway, Tuesday.

The accident happened at around 9:00am at Busimbi town when Musana’s car, a Prado TX, registration number UBB, 144R collided head on with a canter truck, registration number UBA, 530s which was plying the opposite route.

According to Wamala Regional Police spokesperson Norbert Ochom, the legislator was over speeding when in effort to circumvent a boda boda, instead slammed into the truck.

“He was over speeding and he tried to dodge a boda boda man and rammed into a truck. This was recklessness on the side of the MP,” Ochom said.

Musana was shortly admitted at Mityana hospital but his condition worsened prompting his referral to Nakasero where reports indicate he is fighting for life.
