Tugende mukikade concert set for Saturday

The second edition of the Tugende mukikade concert will be on May 5, 2018 at Kampala Serena Hotel.

Following last year’s successful show, Kalungi Patrick the Team leader revealed to journalists that thousands of tickets are already sold out as Ugandans look forward to celebrating the hits that made Uganda’s music Industry in the early 1990’s

“We are here to unveil the artists that will be performing, the reason Joanita Kawalya as the headlining artiste from Afrigo band is here, plus Sophie Gombya who re representing the rest of the artistes’

To Kalungi, band music defines who Ugandans really are, the reason he was inspired to bring together the cream of Ugandan band music in one show

NBS television Brand Manager Greggy Busolo, told journalists that NBS feels privileged to be at the forefront of promoting Uganda’s music.

“We are excited to the official media sponsors of this concert, our objective as a TV is to build the music industry in Uganda, this is the music that defines the music we have in Uganda right now,” he said.

The show will bring together AFrigo band, Sophie and Sam Gombya, Eddie Yahweh, Fred Sebatta, Chance Nalubega among others.

Tickets go for Shs100000 VIP and 1 million a table.
