Kagame, Museveni in talks at State House Entebbe

Talks between Rwandan President Paul Kagame and Uganda’s Yoweri Kaguta Museveni have commenced.

The talks are expected to encompass trade, relations, security and infrastructure.

NilePost has seen atleast five senior ministers from Uganda’s cabinet who include Energy Minister Irene Muloni, Defence Minister Adolf Mwesige, Attorney General William Byaruhanga and Security Minister Elly Tumwine.

There are also atleast two high ranking officials from the Rwanda’s cabinet who include Louise Mushikwabo, the foreign affairs minister.

In the meeting, the presidents are expected to discuss an extradition treaty, the standard gauge railway and security of both countries.

Kagame arrived at Statehouse a little after 11:30am and was welcomed by Museveni.

This is the second time in four months that the two leaders are meeting.

They will address the press after both the bi lateral talks and their closed door meeting.
