DR Congo confirms 100 virus cases in military prison

Democratic Republic of Congo's health ministry says that 101 inmates tested positive for coronavirus in the N’dolo military prison.

Only three infected inmates have been admitted to a hospital outside the facility. Six inmates are under close supervision in the prison while the rest have mild symptoms.

The authorities say three wings of the prison were disinfected on Monday.

The country has to date confirmed 682 coronavirus cases and 34 deaths.
