All set for Entebbe Golf Open

Over 200 players are expected to take part in the ninth edition of the Entebbe Golf open that starts on November 3rd at the Entebbe Golf Club.

According to Marvin Kagoro an executive member of the Entebbe golf club, this year’s edition is expected to be more competitive.

“We expect regional and local participation, we pride ourselves on having the best course in the region, for example on hole number 2 we have cut down the tree and there will be more visibility to the greens plus we have added a water feature on hole number 18,the course is in excellent condition,” Kagoro said.

Up to 200 players turned up at last year’s edition with Phillip Kasozi winning the pro category while Deco Mutebi was the gross winner.

The brand manager Castle Lite, Julian Ssentamu, affirmed the brand’s continued relationship with Entebbe club and golf in particular referring to it as the perfect fit.

Winners will share out a prize money kitty of up to Shs 10 million
