Insurers Swap Ties, Suits for Sportswear to Keep Fit, Have Fun at 11th ITC Gala

Uganda’s insurance professionals stepped away from their boardrooms and offices to trade formal wear for sports gear as 52 insurance companies gathered for the 11th Insurance Training College (ITC) Insurance Sports Gala.

Held at Jeph International University, the annual event brought together insurers, brokers, agents, regulators and other industry stakeholders for a day of competition, networking and team building under the theme “Play Strong, Stay Protected.”

The usually corporate environment of the insurance sector gave way to football pitches, volleyball courts, swimming lanes and running tracks as participants embraced activities aimed at promoting wellness, collaboration and stronger professional relationships.

The ITC Sports Gala has grown into one of the insurance industry’s major annual engagements, offering stakeholders an opportunity to promote healthy living while strengthening partnerships across the sector.
