Parties gear up for 2026 elections amidst growing Museveni monarchy concerns

As the 2026 elections loom on the horizon, political parties across the nation are gearing up for what could be a pivotal moment in Uganda's political landscape.

However, amidst the anticipation, there's a growing concern among opposition parties regarding President Museveni's entrenched grip on power, which some critics are likening to a burgeoning monarchy.
