Kayihura appoints ACP John Okalany new PSU commander

Assistant Commissioner of Police John Okalany has been appointed as the commandant of the Professional Standards Unit (PSU).

In a letter dated January 10, 2018, Gen Kale Kayihura, the Inspector General of Police said the appointment takes immediate effect.

Okalany takes over from Joel Aguma who is facing kidnap charges in the army court martial. Good Mwesigwa has been the acting PSU commander.
