Jamaican artiste Mr Vegas endorses Bobi for president, says he is the only hope for Uganda (Video)

Jamaican dancehall artiste, Clifford Smith alias Mr. Vegas has said that Ugandan’s hope for bettering themselves only lies in People Power founder Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu alias Bobi Wine, further endorsing him for the presidency.

The Jamaican made the pronunciations in a live video via his official Facebook page on Thursday.

According to Mr. Vegas, the hope he belies for Uganda is through Bobi Wine because he symbolizes the change that the world is waiting to see.

“We the younger generation must create a better world for ourselves and the generation to come. We can not keep doing business the same way with corrupt leaders around the world. We can not be doing things the same way and expect a different result. I think Bobi Wine loves you more than himself because no one will put themselves in danger for something they do not believe or love more than themselves,” Mr. Vegas argued.

Speaking about the endorsement, Bobi Wine said he was humbled by his fellow singer’s endorsement and concern for the governance of Africa.

“I am very humbled especially that this is coming from a brother that I respect so much. Blessed love my brother SUUBI aka Mr. Vegas. It is very encouraging to see our brothers and sisters in the diaspora giving attention to the governance of their motherland. One goal, one mission, one Africa. Africa is us and we are Africa. Like the great Fela Kuti said, "In times of oppression, music is supposed to be for revolution."

Mr. Vegas in February this year promised to come to Uganda and help drum up support for Bobi Wine in case he stood for the presidency.
