Uganda Girls U17 National Team head coach Ayub Khalifa has announced the eleven players that will start in the COSAFA Girls U17 semifinal match against Botswana this Friday at St. Francois Xavier Stadium in Mauritius.
Katuuso Community SS forward Catherine Nagadya makes her first start in the championship. She replaces Samali Nakacwa who started against Comoros in the last group A match.
Skipper Juliet Nalukenge(top scorer with 15 goals) leads the forward alongside Fauzia Najjemba and Margret Kunihira.
Kevin Nakacwa retains her central midfield role with Shakira Nyinagahirwa as her partner in the center of the park.
Olila High School’s Bira Nadunga and Kawempe Muslim SS player Stella Musibika will continue to pair in the central defence.
Patricia Akiror and Gillian Akadinda take over the right and left full-backs respectively.
