Trailer crashes two taxis, pioneer bus and boda bodas along Kira Road
A trailer coming from Ntinda towards town has crushed two commuter taxis, a Pioneer Easy bus and four motorcycles along Kira Road in Bukoto, a Kampala suburb.
The trailer was driving down from Ntinda near the traffic lights at Kira Road Police junction when its brakes failed, crashing into the cars in front of it.
According to an eye witness, the commuter taxis’ were crushed so badly that it required police and efforts from people around to cut the wreckage and rescue the passengers.
Police is yet to confirm if any lives have been lost in the Wednesday evening accident.
A video of the accident captured on street cameras is doing the rounds on social media platforms.
