Kyadondo East legislator Robert Kyagulanyi commonly known as Bobi Wine is filled with joy after Uganda Police finally granted him permission to carry on with preparations for his Easter Monday Busabala concert under strict rules and guidelines

On Tuesday April 16th the singing legislator assured his fans and supporters that the show will go on by all means with or without police authorisation because the role of the artists or organisers is to inform the police not to seek permission

According to Police Director of Operations Asuman Mugenyi’s clearance letter dated April 15 the legislator has been allowed to hold the show under strict guidelines.

Part of the statement reads: “The show must strictly not be politically motivated in nature and must be one in the environment of law and order. Police will not hesitate to stop the function at any time even if other authorities have okayed the same if proceedings breach the guidelines."

Police has acknowledged that they are aware of Bobi Wine’s show which will take place at One Love Beach Busabala on April 22 2019

According to the clearance letter issued by police, the show will continue as long as the organisers and the artist follow the rules and guidelines issued by the police for each show

“You are implored to abide by the above and prepare in advance for each of the events to enhance safety and security for the masses that will attend such celebrations” part of the letter adds.

Bobi Wine has confirmed receiving the clearance letter from the police and urged his fans to go and support him on Easter Monday.

He assured Ugandans that all the necessary preparations are ongoing to ensure a successful concert on Eater Monday.
