Next Media commits to supporting NSSF Hash Run

Dilapidated schools outside Kampala will this year benefit from the 4th edition of the NSSF Kampala Hash 7Hills run, an event that for the past 3 years has been used to raise funds to renovate dilapidated school structures under Kampala Capital City Authority.

Richard Byarugaba, the National Social Security Fund Managing Director said children in this country deserve a better education which must be delivered to them under better facilities.

“We are doing this to make sure that children go to good facilities, get good education, and in the end get good skills and jobs that will enable them contribute to NSSF, it is something we are doing as a contribution to society," said Byarugaba.

Next Media Services, the biggest media group in Uganda yesterday officially signed a partnership with NSSF to ensure this event is a successful one.

According to Joseph Kigozi the Chief Strategy Officer, this will be used as a platform for the company to give back to the most valued customers (the viewers) who have since supported it.

“We believe that corporate social investment is everything and the vision that we have to make Uganda better through our different media platforms very dear to us. We are excited that NSSF found Next Media the best partner in this cause”, Kigozi said at the signing of the partnership this morning.
