NRM Kicks Off Accreditation for Incoming MPs’ Retreat at Kololo

The ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) has commenced verification and accreditation of leaders ahead of its upcoming retreat for newly elected Members of Parliament, as activity intensifies at Kololo Ceremonial Grounds.

According to a statement shared on the party’s official platforms, newly elected MPs on the NRM ticket, alongside Independent legislators aligned to the party, members of the Central Executive Committee (CEC), and senior Secretariat officials are finalizing registration before departure.

The exercise marks the first step in preparations for the high-level retreat scheduled to take place in Kyankwanzi, a venue traditionally used by the party for ideological training and strategic planning.

Party leaders are expected to travel tomorrow to Kyankwanzi, where the retreat will focus on orienting legislators to the NRM’s legislative agenda, governance priorities, and broader ideological direction.
