Thousands of Christians in Mubende Municipality gathered today to observe the Way of the Cross, walking through the streets as a sign of remembering the suffering and sacrifice of Jesus Christ.

At different points along the route, participants paused to pray, reflecting on Jesus’ journey to the cross. Various groups led the sections, including lawyers, teachers, traders, youth, boda boda riders, and others.

Traders took the opportunity to appeal to God for forgiveness during the Holy Week of Resurrection, admitting that some colleagues engage in dishonest practices.
