Kenya Airways has slashed rates for all Ugandan bound flights from USA to Uganda until next year.
The
festive season promotion comes at a 10 percent discount for all passengers that
book online, which puts a return ticket from USA to Uganda and Vice Versa at
about $900 (Shs 3.4m) if booking is made during the festive season.
The airline has already cut down travel time from East Africa to JFK by over 6 hours following their maiden flight to the US airport on October 29.
Speaking
to Nile Post about the promotion, the airlines Sales Manager attached to USA,
Jennifer Njuguna said their aim is to ensure diasporans get in touch with their
families and friends back home cheaply and quickly.
“As the
saying goes 'charity begins at home' and for this reason KQ have had a campaign
for the E. Africa diaspora communities to experience the flights for cheaper,
hence making them true ambassadors,” she said.
“Visiting
friends and family has never been this easy. Fly Kenya Airways direct from JFK

The
airline has been at the backbone of a few Ugandan diaspora activities, being an
exhibitor partner at the recently concluded UNAA Causes festival in Washington
DC.
