Among those honored were Next Media for its sustained partnership and support of Red Cross initiatives, and Movit Cosmetics, celebrated for its contributions to the 2025 National Youth Camp at St. Mary’s Secondary School.

The keynote speaker, Fred Yiga, who was also recognized for his contributions, addressed delegates under the theme “From Leadership to Legacy.” He encouraged Red Cross leaders to demonstrate resilience in the face of challenges, commit to service beyond positional authority, and build systems that outlive individuals.

“Legacy beyond term limits is powerful in humanitarian work. Leadership is temporary, but impact is permanent. Institutions must be strengthened, not personalized. True service continues even after titles end,” said Yiga.

During the meeting, Secretary General Robert Kwesiga presented the management report, highlighting key milestones, financial performance, program impact, and strategic priorities for the year ahead.
