Soroti — Rodney Mukula Akongel, son of eastern political linchpin Captain Mike Mukula has been rushed to Mulago Hospital following a suspected poisoning incident on Monday.
Rodney, who is an independent candidate for Soroti City East parliamentary seat, was initially treated at Doctor’s Plaza Clinic in Soroti City, where medical staff worked to stabilise him.
Captain Mukula, who confirmed the serious condition of his son to the Nile Post, said an ambulance had rushed him Kampala for further urgent care.
