In addition, a series of policy and business engagements are scheduled with host governments, private-sector partners, and the Ugandan diaspora, including key meetings in Gaborone on November 29, Johannesburg on December 2, and Cape Town on December 6.

Private sector support has been strong. Creative powerhouse Swangz Avenue, responsible for the expedition’s branding, described the initiative as “history in motion”, while telecom giant MTN Uganda celebrated the launch as a milestone for Ugandan engineering and innovation.

Kiira Motors Corporation emphasized that the Kayoola E-Coach 13M Model 2025 is a breakthrough in Africa’s electric mobility sector, designed to meet the continent’s growing transport demands sustainably.

The expedition will culminate in Cape Town on December 5–6, 2025, before the team begins its return journey northward.
