Traffic along the road from Nansana to Hoima was disrupted as NRM party members vying to hold the party flag for various positions in Nansana Division submitted their nomination papers at their party headquarters in Wakiso.

The group, led by Sam Mugabi Bukenya, who seeks the NRM flag to contest for the position of Chairperson of Nansana Division, caused a stir in several towns of Nansana including Masitoowa, Yesu Amala, Kabumbi, Kazo, and others. They paraded with music bands and a convoy of youth riding on vehicles, leading to traffic congestion in the area.

After submitting his papers, Sam Mugabi said, “Do not vote based on party colors. If someone is incapable, don’t elect them. Vote for a person with real capability so we can develop Nansana.
