Eric Touze, Director of Annual Sponsors Kampala, stresses that music and culture are powerful tools for youth empowerment, skill development, and job creation in Uganda’s growing creative industry.

Eric Touze, director of Annual Sponsors Kampala, has highlighted the vital role of music and culture in youth empowerment and national development, urging young Ugandans to view entertainment not just as enjoyment but as a tool for building skills and creating jobs.

Touze emphasized that music and culture have long been global traditions that unite people through rhythm and sound, but their power goes beyond entertainment.

“Entertainment is meant to empower and build capacity for the youth to improve their skills and employment prospects,” he said.

He called on Uganda’s youth to believe in themselves to fully seize the opportunities available within the creative industry.
