I want to urge you all leaders to support the President and all government programmes, and be cautious about those who are advocating for change because they may end up taking our country backwards in the name of change

The political and technical leaders in Kikuube District held a preparatory meeting this evening to streamline activities ahead of President Museveni’s visit and the thanksgiving ceremony organised by the State Minister for Public Service, Mary Mugasa.

The meeting, held at Kikuube District headquarters, discussed expectations of the leaders, their conduct, and laid down guidelines to follow during the presidential visit.

Mugasa used the meeting to implore leaders to do their work faithfully and diligently, urging continued support for President Museveni’s leadership and the NRM government, while discouraging association with those advocating for change.

“I want to urge you all leaders to support the President and all government programmes, and be cautious about those who are advocating for change because they may end up taking our country backwards in the name of change,” Mugasa said.
