Through the Road to Makkah campaign, Salam TV and Weli Travel aim to make the Hajj and Umrah experience seamless and filled with positive memories for pilgrims.

Salam TV, in collaboration with Weli Travel, has officially launched its annual Road to Makkah campaign for 2025. The initiative aims to bridge the gap between pilgrims and their families while bringing all Hajj companies under one platform.

According to Hajji Karim Kaliisa, the campaign seeks to modernize the Hajj and Umrah experience, eliminating fears and difficulties associated with the pilgrimage. "Uganda's Hajj journey began in 1921 with Sheikh Ssekimwanyi, where pilgrims traveled by foot and bus, facing a 6-month journey with uncertain returns," Hajji Karim Kaliisa noted. "We commend Weli Travel for transforming the experience, making it smooth and efficient."
