MP Kyagulanyi finally sees personal doctor, reportedly taken for scan
Incarcerated Kyadondo East Member of Parliament, Robert Kyagulanyi, also known as Bobi Wine has finally been allowed access to his personal doctor, the Nile Post has learnt.
Following his arrest last week, Kyagulanyi was allegedly tortured by security organs by beating and according his lawyers, he has a swollen face and can neither stand nor sit.

The legislator who is currently detained at the Makindye military barracks has since his arrest been treated exclusively by the army doctors and others from outside have not been allowed to access him.
On Monday, the legislator was allowed to be accessed by his personal doctor, the Nile Post has learnt.
According to a family source, the personal doctor found out that Kyagulanyi still had bruises in the face and could neither stand nor sit and recommended for a head and hip scan.
UPDF spokesperson, Brig.Richard Karemire confirmed to this website that Kyagulanyi’s personal doctor had been allowed to access the incarcerated legislator.
“Yes, it is true the personal doctor visited Kyagulanyi,”Brig.Karemire told Nile Post.
Taken for scan
The Nile Post has also leant that Kyagulanyi has reportedly been taken to Kampala Imaging Centre in Kololo for a scan.
On Monday, Medard Sseggona, who was part of the adhoc committee for parliament that visited Kyagulanyi confirmed that the legislator had been taken for a scan.
“They(army) took him for a scan but it didn’t reveal the problem. Unfortunately the scan for the hip was down,”Sseggona said at parliament on Monday.
He said that having been able to access Kyagulanyi in court during the day he was charged, his condition had improved but noted a lot needs to be done to see the legislator better.
“He is better than he was in Gulu but not okay. His condition still remains bad.He has a swollen face, one eye remains red and is still in deep pain,”Sseggona said.
According to the lawyer, Kyagulanyi complained to them that his left part of the body is dead and non- functional.
