President Museveni has warmly welcomed Dr Michelle Corral, President and Founder of Breath of the Spirit Ministries, to Uganda.
Representing the President at the Second East Africa Fire and Anointing Pastors Conference, Minister Ruth Nankabirwa delivered his message.
"Dr Michelle Corral is a true friend of Africa and Uganda... Her actions mirror the story of the Good Samaritan as told by our Lord Jesus Christ in St. Luke's gospel," Museveni said.
He also emphasized the non-sectarian ideology of the National Resistance Movement (NRM), built on patriotism, pan-Africanism, social-economic transformation, and democracy.
"We promote patriotism to consolidate unity and peaceful co-existence among our people... Outside Uganda, we advocate for East African and African cooperation and integration," President Museveni stated.
The President commended Ugandan religious leaders for driving developmental and social uplift projects, improving believers' well-being.
Minister Ruth Nankabirwa represented President Museveni at the conference held at Nsambya Sharing Hall.
